Mk3 Power steering box

Postby conrod » Sun Nov 08, 2015 9:15 am

Does anyone have, or know where I can get one of these? As the title says, it is a power steering box from a Mk3 (with beam axle) I already have one complete setup, but I need at least one more. I can get it shipped out of UK no problem, so would just need it sent to a friend in Tamworth. Yes I know these are rare, but the last setup came via this forum, so fingers crossed again :)

linky no worky! But I know what you mean now, electric power assist, like one of those Vauxhall systems that seem popular.
I would prefer a Mk3 hydraulic box, as I like the fact that it speeds up the ratio considerably, whereas the electric assist obviously does not.

bumpitty bump. Still looking for one of these. Also, looking for a good mounting plate for a Mk3 steering box, manual or power, doesn't matter, they are the same.

I am still looking for one of these. Just the PS box, drop arm, and mounting plate. I don't need the coupling from the column, or pump, or anything else. Also need another Mk3 steering box mounting plate.(can be from a manual box)

bump, still looking for a MK3 PS box and drop arm. Also need the mounting plate. Will buy just the mounting plate of someone has one, as I need 2 of these. It is the same mounting plate as the manual steering box.
