Mk7 Transit centre roof lining

Postby motorman116 » Thu Dec 22, 2016 4:56 pm

As you are aware I have converted my Transit to take my wifes disabled wheel chair (Side loading door section / centre of van) this morning the roof was dripping water onto the floor, I already have 2 x Fletner roof vents fitted. I can't have my wife having a shower in the back in the colder months.

I am looking for a Mk7 Ford Transit long wheel base / high roof minibus centre roof lining section if anyone knows of 1 going.

Thank you.

The Flettner does nothing about condensation on my Mk6 either, they're useless

I believe the "standard" solution is to glue carpet to the roof :)

If I do that, I hope that it doesn't mean that the carpet will be dripping wet with the condensation :?:

Apparently not, it stops the condensation forming in the first place.
Have a look at some of the camper van progress threads, or ask the ever popular BJT, it's a common and inexpensive 'mod'
