Seen this on the bay

it got electric windows but did they come as a factory option?

The door cards also seem different

Electric windows weren't an option on mk3

Ah I do love the interiors on the old buses.
Would love to swap the front seats out of those for my tourneo, or get a full set of seats from a Transit Executive. 8)

All getting rare now, especially in that condition.
If it has four legs and is not a chair, has wings and is not an aeroplane, or swims and is not a submarine the Cantonese will eat it

they are universal windows kits..can see the blank fitted on the door card..door card is rare as its a proper executive bus type,same as carpet by looks of it... do see them door cards on campers as well..

I have been told by someone extremely knowledgeable about mk3s that electric windows were factory fitted - but they were SVO extremely expensive and therefore very rare. Also they wern't available in the UK

I remember this van from new....

Was built for a manager's wife at Ford's headquarters Warley :wink:


Also proves Tourneo Wheels fit Mk3's which nobody believed me 8)

Just have to adjust the position of the Handbrake cables :wink:

As to the winder blanks Ford supplyed blanks like that for dealer fitted leccy windows, usually find them in escort and orions from the late 80's
