That sounds like a great offer to me. As part of the team that worked on the van I can say that there was no" bodging" on anything. In fact I got into trouble with the welders of the group all the time for maybe cutting out and repairing that little bit extra and washing parts and replacing where necessary.
The van is sound and will make an excellent custom vehicle project for you. Hopefully we can all meet you at some stage.
