says the date as 1965, be very rare if it was and not just a guess at the model year

it look like the box mount is rhd but the wipers say left hand but ive seen them with box mounts on both sides before

As long as he got paperwork to go with it so i can get it nova'd i not fussed about year, if it hasn't got paperwork it could be difficult to sort but still doable, i guess if it is a 65 it would be a shame to use it

there are only 2 known 65 vans in the uk apparently, think there was a 3rd at one point but was to far gone so was used for parts

looks like an early one. as its got the peddles coming out the floor, can a sliding door be changed to normal opening door

vans had pedals coming out the floor untill 1970 ish i think and yes you can change the door, just means taking all the sliding door stuff off

well i got it back to the uk, good run but a long day, first time towing my new trailer, but the 3.2 diesel merc didn't even know it was there, even with van on it.

it is a 1.7 v4 Cologne engine as the dizzy is at the back,

have you not seen the gec mk1 that ford have its supposed to be the earliest known on a c plate

well me and a couple of friends spent a couple of hours on the old girl today and she looks more presentable now
