This is all a bit socialist considering we are heading for a conservative government.. ...what happened to dog eat dog? Surely we should all be gearing up for the 'Drown the other five just to save yourself so you can sit in luxury on a 6 man boat, and whilst you might regret it later when you go insane with no one to talk to, who cares live for the moment' phyllosopy under the conservatives?

Besides if I showed everyone my Ebay name they might know via an illicit email to a seller that I've outbid them on a V6 adaptor plate and engine or something! Actually I did have a punt at that listing Intransit was watching...but only when it went over £100...and it did wrestle my concious...but then I figured...you know I have a license and I've had my 24V insurance quotes in so what the hell I'II bid for it......I still lost anyhow at the last second....oh but the pangs of guilt when it said for all of three seconds that I was the highest bidder...I almost couldn't bear it! Now I read that Intransit didn't even bid over a ton! Makes me wish I put more on it now!

Also some repeated advice - if you want to win something on Ebay only tell others about the listing after you've won it!!

My ebay id is / Givemeabreakbeer / Tell you what we can do if someones selling stuff on this forum we can check there ebay feedback out and hopefully it willmake us less likely to be conned. Be nice if sellers had their ebay name included in there add would save us all hassle and reasure us as 99% of us are genuine.

eBay id is: Trojan-Photo - in case you want to add it to the list. I agree that, now you cannot see who is bidding (unless your the seller), the "don't bid against.." is redundant, but it does mean that if your bidding or selling, then the buyer/seller know who you are.

The only help i can give on this front is when buying on ebay if you want to check out the seller then go on to goofbay(type it on google) and goofbay them.You will soon see if they are an honest seller even if their feedback is private.
You will be able to see both waht they have been buying and what they have been selling.

p.s I am an honest seller and will always help others.But it is a dog eat dog world so if you can't get what you want you take what you can get.
