removing vinyl lettering

Postby motovanner » Wed Apr 03, 2013 8:08 pm

hi guys

bought a transit recently and today started with a hairdryer to warm and peel off the previous owners vinyl stickers and most have come off fine.

but theres a few that have a dark grey adhesive that seems to be firmly stuck to the painstwork - i scored some of this lightly with a stanley knife being careful not to go into the paint underneath and then applying goo-gone and working it in with a green scourer ( for doing dishes ) and its coming off but its going to be a long and laboriuous job.

is there an easier way? ( and dont say buy a different van lol - thought of that already! lol)
