hello,
it depens where you want the speakers, they normally live behind the door cards, have a search and there is proberly a post on how to remove the door cards,

Fitted new speakers

Postby akuhenrikkorhonen » Fri May 23, 2008 3:24 am

I had no problems removing those door cards, it was actually quite easy...
I replaced original speakers with 6,5" component speakers. Speakers didn't fit straight away, so I made an adapter from 12mm plywood.

hello there if you remove the door card first to see what shape and size you need my mate picked up a decent set that fitted straight in for about £45 a few years back, all i have ever done is to add in 2 extra speakers mounted to my bulk head (do you have a bulk head) if so you will get a better sound if you make a box to house the said speakers and if so make a bigger hole than you need to feed your speaker cables through as this also helps the speakers work better. Have you fitter a different sound system (none ford) if so did you cut the wires or fit a wirering harness, if you are using or going to upgrade get a harness as it is so easy to add in another pair of speakers if you would like a few pics pm me with your email and i will try to send you some pics as soon as possible.
I hope to of been some help cheers

My project is progressing...So far I have:

- Installed 2 sets of Pioneers 6.5" separate way speakers, one into the doors and other set into the roof card
- Fitted/installed 12" Pioneer subwoofer+enclosure into the screen between the trunk and the cockpit
- 1000w 4-channel amplifier is feeding the subwoofer and speakers in the roof card
- Removed the original ford-player and replaced it with Pioneer mp3- player

How can I add some pictures into this post ???
