Quote from fullboost site about the l300
On the Job in 10 Seconds

“It’s all just budget tightarse” is how Andrew Bartlett describes his Mitsubishi L300 series van. Andrew’s van has certainly raised a few eyebrows up at Heathcote Raceway. “It just started off as a joke, I wanted to put a V8 in it so I could pull my ‘digger’ for work and before I knew it I was up here running 10s in it” chuckles Andrew.

and a more up to date time also from fullboost

I would realy like to see a 10sec transit

My wife keeps saying "show em how its done then" as much as i would love to i just dont have the need for another 10sec race car nor do i have time to build another

I think i could do it with the 460 give it a little work over and gas the hell out of it, i would surely have the power to pust a transit to 10's but i have a feeling the rear suspension might be a problem with power and traction
resulting in ripping the diff off the springs

When you sit back and think about it wouldnt realy be too hard you would need cubes and torque i wouldnt bother with anything less than 351ci
a cossy would be a waste of time and cost a fortune to get mountains of torque from

yeah its the std set up but im not going to be giving the van a hard time so tramp shouldnt be an isue

And from the few burnouts that i have done the springs didnt wind up that much to give tramp
