Changing seats in a mk5

Postby ediesbra » Thu Mar 14, 2013 10:58 pm

Hiya everyone, ive stripped some mondeo seats to bolt to the base of the mk5, i need a piece of metal 44x36cm , question is how thick does the sheet metal have to be?? im going to bolt the metal to the base and then that to the seat, with large washers so it wont rip out in the event of an accident, cheers for any help.
