I weld at work but i use Tig and stick, so Mig a new type of welding for me, always had in my head that Mig wasnt as good of a weld. But iv got used to it, and i must say if time is taken you can get some great results. Thats my mate in the picture welding the inner arch, as that side was his pride and joy :D

I am really impressed with my new welder, its a clarke 135turbo gas, its a great little welder with good penetration, and cheap to buy :)

It's a shame it's got the marker light holes in the wings :(

Bonnet catchs :) didnt want to have to mess about sourcing a mk7 catch, plus this gives it more of a custom look :wink: still havnt got window plastics yet :roll:

Going to rip the wood up, sort any rust, paint floor, new boarding down then vinyl checker, front going to spray dash black then green bits, as its all going green.

Got MOT end of this month so concentrating on that atm.
