Fitted the TomTom at last

Which involves taking the van apart! Stoney, thanks for the heads up on how to remove the A pillar trim.

Hey Mike,. Which mount did you use to fix it up there? Was it the standard sucker on that comes with the TomTom or something else? Also got any final pics of the power connections connected up? Thanks.

I used one of these on the black mesh area of the screen http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001 ... UTF8&psc=1 and a USB extension cable to get the power lead into the dash-top power socket. Sorry no other pics but you just take out the bits that you can see in the pic, then remove the two screws at the front of the dash-top compartment, then you can feed the cable down.

Hi Mike. Which LED replacement did you use for the number plate lights? Cheers.

bigjohnthomas wrote::? but whats that in inches then what does it all mean :?
i shall rephrase my question ..
from a human perspective dose it "feel" any smaller in the back ?

I have 2 bits of timber in the back of my vans attached to the wheel arch boxes to separate it out a bit for when the bikes go in the back. Don't have to empty the lot then. I took it out the MK7 and I had to cut about 3 inches off them to fit in the Custom. So unless you've got something huge that only just fitted in the MK7 you'd probably be ok. Plenty of room to wash dog's ring pieces

Nope, the normal drl is part of the main beam light. This drl is in the fog light position, it operates as a drl/fog/cornering light.
