mk5 with mk3 grill+custom badge

Postby ThundAh » Tue Mar 04, 2014 12:52 am

the badge isn't that custom really, its just the badge from the rear door, I found the grill from on older model and the badge at the wreckers.
I always thought having the grill the same oval shape as the ford badge looks a bit goofy. I like the look of the new euro vans I have seen, the grills are minimal and more stylish. I really want clear lenses for the headlights next.

I have also painted the wheels/hub caps with some gloss black and the rear 'transit' badge gloss black.

Mk3 had squarer headlights, so grill and bonnet were squarer to match

Ah ok yeah it must be then because it matches my lights and bonnet curves. I pulled it out of the back of a van at the wreckers not sure what year. I think it looks way better

That's a Mk4 grille, only available for a couple of years.
Best shape grill, in my opinion. I put one on my last Mk5 too :D
Badge looks good on there as well, nice one 8)
