Some news about Ronal R44: for models Mk6/Mk7 Ronal R44 had flat socket for flat nuts with "swimming" washer.
Now Ronal R44 has conical socket - as genuine fords steel wheels and alloys for Custom and Mk8. But still it is possible use new R44 for Mk6/Mk7, because on market are available nice and cheap conical nuts M14x2mm.

German Transit Custom Business Edition is equipped with 18" alloys with tyres 235/50R18. Alloys are available only with this model...

Even if they did fit they wouldn't be legal because of the load rating.
Some people are like slinkies.... not good for much but bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.
