One of the things I really miss from that era is the wheels. Not just polished slot mags but fully chromed deep dish ones that catch the sun when they turn. A far cry from today's lookalike dull machined or matt black efforts that look like a set of plastic wheel trims!
Chrome wires were my favourite but a bitch to keep clean. :?

Yeah, can't beat the full chrome wheels on any motor, had them on my 1600e

+2 on the chrome wheels! My Anglia had a set of chrome rostyles on 8) or it did, until the front one fell off while I was driving :shock: Ahh, to be young and reckless again! Do miss that car :cry:
