It's not a lot of fun doing it is it? Anyway, welcome to the club :)

Thanks :-)
Worst part was slashing bits with the Stanley knife, was making me faint thinking about cutting myself
I'm not sure what to do with the lights now apart from the black and the worms, i did fancy the projector but i wanted to put it where the indicator is, would that work or would it be crap? Also depends how bright the worms are :-(
Also i take it that the projector halo is dip beam or are they double filament and halo is side?

My halo's are my drls, they dim when the side lights are switched on. The projectors have only one setting that comes on at dip beam, but have a little flapper that's operated by a solinoid, it blanks half the beam on dip and opens fully for main :D

Once you have done one its easy putting the projectors in the indicators probably won't work as adjusting the aim would be a pain !
just follow the onscreen instructions and it's fairly idiot proof...trouble is, we keep producing better idiots

Are you using hid bulbs with the projects and how do you connect up for hi-lo beam?

My hids have a flap controlled by a solenoid, it's normally half covered. When main beam is selected, the flap opens and uncovers the whole bulb :D solenoid is just connected to the high beam output on the original headlamp plug.

I'm just about to use Hi-Lo bulbs in my projectors and wire up the solenoid to the hi bulb wires so it fires at the same time.

Going to start that tomorrow.

Hmmm. can possibly see issues on a mk6. looks like a lot of relays to keep the bulb lit with main beam if it's getting triggered of the low beam. Was contemplating on usings some high power leds in them but don't know if they would fit and work with them. Will chuck a scabby spare in the oven and see if i can get it to split first.

Yes if you get the correct projectors that take your bulb, I'm sure i have seen ones that have a screw on plate at the back like spot lights :-(
