Thanks.
I've got the fibreglass gubbins and my new leds arrived today so it wont be long now until they have their second incarnation. Hopefully I'll get them back on the van sometime over Xmas.

New set of headlights £70
Projector units with halos and drivers £53
60cm Switchback led tubes £20
Good quality paint and primer £16
Sealant £5
Tools to open headlights £3
Sidelight Led's £3
Chrome indicators £5
Aluminium Tape £3
HID kit with balasts £34
I also bought other LED's that didn't make it into the lights totaling about £30
And almost a full weekend spent doing it.

To add to that expense here's the extra cost for the improvements I'm planning:

New HID kit with ballasts £38
New LED's £12
Filler and fiberglass £25
Paint £10
And I reckon another weekend to complete them.

So that's a cost of about £330 quid and more labour than anyone in their right mind would throw at them. It took a while as I don't usually do this kind of thing.
The forum made me do it.

Here's a good tip though, if you're planning on doing it yourself I'd recommend these tools for removing the bonding that seals the lights.
Silverline hook tools

Just a few more questions...

What size projector lights are they? Are they 75mm???
What is the aluminium tape for?
How are the Switchback led tubes fixed?

Thanks in advance ;-)

1. 2.5" projectors
2. Aluminium tape covers the wires that run along the outside of the projectors that power the projector solenoid and the halos, so you cant see them reflected in the original ford light reflector.
3. They come with clips.
