I'm getting the tailgate & the rear panel sorted out next, I have the front end booked in with paul2012 for next month. Also i need some welding done to the rear arches & sills. The rust has got a bit worse as it's been sat there nearly 6 months

Oh yeah I meant to say also, the wiring for the mk7 tailgate is on the opposite side of the mk6 tailgate, just thought I'd mention it as you were after one

That's the same section I am going to replace on the other member Mk6. I'm currently working on at the moment

There is 2 parts lower & upper. Upper panel the door striker is secured to. Both panels are over £300 from Ford
Upper panel Ford Part no F4438867 retail price £179 exc VAT
Lower panel Ford Part no F4395788 retail price £101 exc VAT
Best option is to cut that section out from another mk6, which is what I'm planning to do
