Postby glenandemm » Thu Aug 20, 2015 9:05 pm

im looking at fitting 2 grille or headlight strobes and a roof beacon in my mk7 but havent got a clue which are a decent set to buy at a reasonable price, i want a magnetic roof one rerally as it wont be on full time and dont want to go drilling holes, the grille im not bothered about as they'll be hidden behind it or something, ive seen these but not sure, anyone got any advice as i know some of you guys are crazy for van led's etc!!!!

Iv got a set there rubbish your better off getting something decent to put inside the beacon something with a proper reflector There just leds in clear plastic I brought some semi decent ones for my van but I can't find the link sorry
just follow the onscreen instructions and it's fairly idiot proof...trouble is, we keep producing better idiots

Here you go.

Woodway Engineering.

You have to create an account in the AMBER "Commercial Use Sign In" area.
I used to drive blue lights (emergency service) and I have an account under the "BLUE" login section.

These guys have everything you need. They'll also customise LED units and lightbars to your requirements too. i.e. white/amber, red/amber, green/amber or any combination of colours (apart from blue obviously).

Also these guys are brilliant too. I highly recommend Redtronic. I have bought a few lightbars from them over the years.
They built me a 19" amber with twin rotators and mirrors with rear facing wig-wag red halogens (listen to me....halogens!!...this was in 1999...they're all LED now).
They also built me a custom red/blue American police lightbar in 1998 for my stage act.
