maybe a stupid question but...

How did you get the black lines so straight on the front of your van...

im looking at doing the same to mine, is it vinyl or sprayed?

It's vinyl mate. And if you want it to match the plastics, get anthracite colour, not black.

Ill bear that in mind mate :)

I work in graphics and it really isn't easy to lay vinyl well - especially on a vehicle. Get it done by a professional, it shouldn't cost much. I submitted a post on vinyl/graphics on here. bit boring but there's some good advice on it.

i plan on having a lounge area on the roof by applying a roof rack like this:

as i need to have an extraction fan and opening on top to ventilate the interior, i am planing to go big and cut an opening to access the top of the van by the interior, using a loft telescopic ladder:

for the opening itself, and this is the question, i tought of cutting a corsa roof and welding it to the van roof:

by cutting the roof and welding, i would not bother with waterproofness other than on the welding itself.

The corsa sunroof is large enough to go trough, cheap and available, waterproof (had several corsas and tigras with no issue there) and i can modify it to have a built in push/pull fan along with a bug screen.

Do you think its a good option or are there better options on the market that are affordable?

cheers

Why not just put ladder on back door.....?..

Looking for company or individual who could help change double passenger and single driver seats to captains chairs with swivel, fit electric steps etc.

Looking at Jennings suspension chairs atm, need some adaptation to fit.

I am totally unable to do this myself and really need help.

Any recommendations please?

I have another question..!

What do you advise for insulation? What i'm mostly worried about is condensation on the inside between the insulation and inside of the body work. I've seen some foam solutions which would prevent having a gap (and as such no condensation?). But seems quite permanent and a bit rough. Stick-on foam?

Would you use the same for ceiling/walls/floor?

Any advice would be good.

Thanks, Johan (NZ)

Hi bud, I am a complete novice when it comes to the electric side of things and wishing to do the job myself as I’m on a tight budget I wondered if you could roughly guide me through the wiring for 12V / mains hook—up please- I know it’s a big ask but even like which wire to buy etc would be helpful; I have absolutely no idea I watch YouTube videos but I get lost and they usually assume you have a basic knowledge I don’t sadly!
My email is stevieplangdon63@icloud.com if you prefer to write to me that way.
Cheers bud you’re a legend.
