Winding up mk5 front end

Postby jaanos » Thu Nov 03, 2016 1:02 am

Hi guys, I've searched for this to no avail so wanted to ask if it's possible to wind the front end of my 98 mk5 transit up an inch or so to match the rear so it sits more level. This is possible on a hiace and also an old Navara I used to own... Cheers!

You want to raise the front? You could always try a spacer somewhere but I would opt for changing the springs for longer ones. There are spring specialists out there that can mod yours or supply new to your specification.
I have always lowered vehicles for the cool look and my HiArse was no exception. I cut one turn out of the front springs and fitted 2 and a half inch lowering blocks and longer u-bolts at the rear. Cornered like it was on rails and ended up low enough to fit into my garage. 8)

New springs will probably make a difference the ones you have im assuming have been On there a long time so hane probably sagged with age ??
just follow the onscreen instructions and it's fairly idiot proof...trouble is, we keep producing better idiots
