Work and leisure build

Postby Mc3611 » Mon Feb 27, 2017 4:38 pm

Starting my work and leisure build on the Swb mk7 transit.

First off some half decent seat covers.

Started lining the rear

Next port of call is a custom slide out side door tool box, raised from the floor so I can still get a double mattress in the back or 2400x1200 sheets.

What would anyone recommend for insulating the back? Is rock wool any good or would It sand the inside of bodywork?

I bought this, and it's easy to work with and cheap I think.

Mc3611, where did you buy the seat covers? They look half decent. I looked a while ago and found nothing that looked anything like decent and so gave up but they look pretty good!!

Please let me know

Cheers

I got them from a guy on eBay they where neer on £200 but totally change the look of the interior and their pretty hard wearing, I do 1200 mile a week in mine with dirty work pants on and they haven't changed even the stitching is still white
He's called ukseatcoverfactory on eBay mate he's easy to deal with and no bother to talk to aswell.
