new alloy wheel advice

Postby keyi » Mon Jul 17, 2017 8:21 pm

hi
this maybe a simple question to some but i dont want to get it wrong!
ive a 17 plate dual cab 170 swb custom, im wanting some new alloys but not sure what size i can go to. 18" x 8" seem to be popular (is that size ok?) can i go to 19? or bigger?
Anyone know of any cheap good places to buy them from? im ideally wanting a black set, i dont mind buying then then getting them powder coated any good places to buy some tyres too?

many thanks chaps

Alloys 20" with Transit PCD 5x160mm are produced by Wolfrace.

They are looking as STORM 36 18"...

In this so big wheels so small disc brakes are looking little bit... miserable.

But I don't think so - is it possible to buy tyres for this alloys for Custom with correct load index.

Now on market are available tyres 245/45R20 XL with high load index 103. They are little bit bigger than standard tyres (diameter), but load index is good for vans 3,0t heavy.

In this size are fantastic tyres Toyo Proxes T1 Sport 245/45 R20 103 Y XL, ZR, very good for offensive style of driving.
