i made a trailer a few weeks back from a ex BT transit back (the fibreglass ones) and thats nose heavy too but i'll see how it tows i havent managed to try it yet as it's still full of junk

one day i'd like to do one on a mk1/2 and paint it grey with the same alloys as my van but theres a lot of things i'd like to do that i'll never get round to

Dont theese things need to be tested or type approved ???
Surely its not legal to just weld an a-frame to half a shell and tow it down the road? Especially with all the health and safety police about and VOSA?

Were thinking of doing it with a MK6 transit, looking on the best ways to go about it. we were thinking of using a jumbo chopping it so the wheels are centre fix the sliding door closed permanantly, removing the rear doors, chopping the roof off, and replacing the rear doors and roof with a semi-hi top. Dose anyone know of any problmes we might encounter along the way?
