I've finally managed to get the materials together to mod the grill
but don't know what filler to use on the joins :?

Thanks for the advice and the link.
The best stuff I have found, is "Isopon bumperfil", it bonds to most plastics unlike ordinary body filler. Comes in a tube, a bit expensive, but works OK. One thing I would recommend, is to reinforce the back to stop flexing. Plumbers glue will weld the plastic and glue the reinforcing. Remember to use some plastic primer, stops it peeling long term :D

Thanks mate, I'll let you know how it goes, though it might take a while as I've got to
MOT the wifes car ,
MOT the daughters car
and the fuel pump on my CBR 600 has packed in

Just a wee update on my progress :)
My clear indicators arrived and I managed to scrounge a wee nudge bar out of a body-shop skip
Also been messin wi black paint
Hopefully I'll get the gaps under the lights done next week

The bar is off a Rav4 and is stainless, had to modify the brackets and drill new mounting holes

Cheers matt, I've been havin a look at fitting my side-step. I've got a wee problem with the treads on the navara ones lining up :?
I've found a slightly damaged full length ally step that might do the job, I'll post up my progress.
Have you had a go at fitting your side-bars yet?
I'm still not too sure about the black paint on the spoiler, but I'll see how it looks once the gap under the lights is sorted :)

I've got a side-exit exhaust now, so that cocks up the side-step idea.
Still want to fit them, but will need to have a re-think once the exhaust's on,
to work out what can be done + how.

I like the black part in your spoiler, it's different 8)

I've just fitted a std mk4 front grill now, which I like, but needs modding yet
...of course :!:

Sadly you can't see the detail so well in this pic, as it's all shaded with pencil 8)

I've put it all back together to size up for the grill mods, but I'll take
some pics of the brackets I made when I strip it down for painting
Image

I didn't like the daylights positioned at the bottom of the head lights so I fitted them on the lower part of the bumper.
They look better in the flesh than they do in the pics 8)
Image

I also fitted a pair of standard mirrors (gonna paint em white) as I hated the longer ones
Image

Got ma grubby mits on a set of Ford Gallaxy 16" wheel trims and adapted them
to fit my 15" six studs. Love the look, pity I had to use cable ties
Image

I painted the wheels black to help the look. Peugeot side repeaters

Got to wait till the weekend to do the grill mods but I'm well chuffed with the progress so far :D :D :D

WOW, love the look of these twin headlights :D Think I might try something like this on mine :D
