I love that blue colour, do you have a paint code, is it a solid or metallic, great job too, hard to find a good body shop that will do what you want.

Cheers
Chris.

Thanks Rob, I've just ordered 500mls to have a play with, the more I look at it the bigger the job becomes, although I have the benefit of the existing paint being in A1 condition so can scuff up and paint over :-)

Cheers
Chris.

First job on the list is the fitment of two sets of rear connects arches . When in place they look brilliant.

As you can see from the last image I have retained some of the original fixings to allow for easy fitment. Be nice to hear what you all think about it as I personaly think it looks top.

How did you start to create this bumper?
By a regural bumper from the same or another model?

I'd like to create a bumper like this for my van, I can work on fiberglass but I don't know how to start.

Any suggestions very apprecciated!

Thanks

The FS bumpers aren't available anymore, they haven't been made for some years. Might be worth trying to find one of those custom bumpers from Malta

Today was here the man of fiberglass .... I did see pictures and told me that it is possible to replicate the custom bumper .... it will be a long road, but we can rebuild ... of course remain the mold in order to build more ... anyone interested? CIAO.

i love my transits but boy do the love to rot lol, even the new shapes to this day still have the same prob with the rust, any hope they will sort that issue out and let transits become the ultimate vehicles known to man :0

Well it only seems like yesterday that I got my van back from the body shop but its actually been 4 years and I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. sadly this year when it came to MOT the old girl has suffered a bit due to old age. Yes that old transit favourite has reared its ugly head , (RUST).
It looks like in the next 12 months I shall have to consider a tiny bit of surgery and will be needing a few new panels.

1 inner rear cross member
2 front wings
2 front step
2 inner front arches
2 headlight panels

there isn't really that much rust but I figure while I'm a it I may as well attack it from all corners.
So if anyone can suggest a supplier of good quality panels please pass me the details as I refuse to give up on the old girl.
