Got the van mot'd today it passed no probs. on the way back lost the clutch control :( rebooted the gearbox ecu clutch seemed ok :) then noticed a loud grinding noise every time the clutch was depressed. Guessed the clutch was going over center :( Got back pulled the engine back out to find the clutch arm has been grinding away on the pressure plate  Also small cracks in the bellhousing

my brother is remaking the gearbox ecu to reduce the electrical noise (combine 4 curcits into one) the gearbox shifting is done by pressurizing a vessel to 1000psi with an electric pump then opening valves to shift the gears and operate the clutch a very cleaver system. The only weak link is the pump they wear out! constantly turning on and off when the pressure drops below 200psi. I will finish installing the engine on monday and hopefully the ecu will be finished too then its play time.

All this is missing now is a camera fitted on the back of the van, so you can capture the boy races faces when you leave them at the lights etc :)

Ive finished putting the engine back in all looking good with the rs 500 intercooler but has ment the need to remove the bonnet lock. So ive fitted lockable areo catches instead then covered the bonnet in carbon wrap.
