HI folk i am not sure if this is a repost or a boring subject to many but i have just bought the conversion panels for a mk6 to mk7 coversion . the list below includes part numbers and prices (correct at time of going to press as it were) not including the outer wings etc this is what is needed to fit the front end panel work only
p f1672185 reinforcemet £14.18 (inner wing top wing mount panel)
p f1672184 reinforcement £20.93 (inner wing top wing mount panel)
p f1370632 142303 panel front (lower inner wing) £19.72
p f1370634 155808 panel front (lower inner wing) £19.72
p f1490009 162203 panel assy (scuttle panel) £27.28
front bonnet hinges are £16.86 and £14.82 each
all this came to 120.19 +vat =144.23
i dont consider this a bad price for genuine ford items
Very interesthing to know that! As i wondered what's required for parts under the visible outside panels, let alone making it easier to give us out the exact parts required.
TRANSITS KEEP YOU GOING!!!, GOING!!! AND GOING!!!!!!
did you manage to find a part number for the rubber hinge covers that go into the plastic scuttle panel cover, cos i couldnt get them, we looked on the ford computer for ages, its the only bit missing on mine.
i rearly like to know excactly what you need to completley change over your front end from mk6 to 7.if you can let me know i appreciate it and what am i looking to spend?
Ive done the conversion myself and all the bits cost me just under £500 all in unpainted. But that involved 3 months of scrounging on ebay for bits as cheap as possible like both headlights for £25 delivered!! If you went into fords and bought every bit you needed then i bet it would cost you well over a grand maybe even 1500.
any one got the part numbers and prices of the A -piller plastics, and plastic scuttle? and any other trim/parts needed for the windscreen plastics? thanks
