Advice please Transit 2.0 260 swb

Hi all,long story short,been let down on the purchase of a tranny i sold my car to fund the purchase and the fella has now sold it to someone else knowing full well id sold my car.Anyway i'm now being rushed into buying another van and am viewing one tomorrow it is a Transit 2.0 260 swb 2000 (x) with 139k usual battle scars with T&T and am told good mechanically,my main concern though is ive been told the fuel pump often fails around this milage,is this true? would you steer clear of this one? he's asking £900 for it too,price ok/steep many thanks in advance to a transit virgin.Chambo also is this engine chain or belt driven?

It's chain driven, at at that age/miles it may already have had a pump, or two
