Enduro!

I have had my little camper for 10 yrs and will be selling very shortly as I have retired from racing.
It has a rear double bed / seats on the sides layout so that a moto x / enduro bike fits between them. Two bikes will fit in if needed, one forward one backwards down the isle!
The van its self is a 1998 SWB 80 with an Autosleeper campervan high roof fitted, therefore giving 7ft ish headroom, proper stripes & windows etc. I have only had two bikes in for a test fit though as a "just in case" its needed. The sink/cooker and cupboard are at the front behind the two front captains seats, there is a sliding side door with easy access, the passenger single seat swivels 360 too. This layout works very well for any type of bike use, but if you had a road / track type bike a ramp would make life easier to get it in or out. The rear doors on mine are semi high barn doors, so you dont bang your head when loading etc.
For me - in the end I found it best to have the bike outside across the rear of the van on a proper bike rack, reason being it keeps the dirt & crap on the outside, and the van stays nice and clean on the inside!

Hope this helps.

that would be great if you could mate. I wouldn't be making mine into a full scale camper but id like to see what you can get in it as well as a bike. itll be a good project for me

yea I got them mate, thanks. its amazing what you can fit in a small van! its making me think about the sink, cooker and seats down one side. then I would still get 2 bikes in easily. only think I don't have is the height but that's not a major issue

I can get 4 dirt bikes or 3 roadrace bikes in my Mk5 120, bit of a squeeze mind with spare wheels, fairings etc.

Regularly carry 3 enduro bikes and kit/fuel/tools. Just ply lined (stops handlebars knocking dents in panels) and a bulkhead (stops the sticky fingered seeing what's inside). Empty it out, sweep through, and all cleanish again.

Only real issue I have with the old girl is the rear load height is a bit high to push a mud loaded bike into after a 3+hr race (pressure wash it off usually) and no tiedown eye by the side loading door is a pain - have to hook into the lower door runner pocket.

Jim,

I put those rally style eye bolts in the bottom seat belt mounting hole. allows a pull down on that side too.

Bulkhead gets in the way - and I'd robbed all the tiedown hooks out of the previous van an all .....
