If you get a mk7 add some security measure like a dummy obd socket and a more secure door lock

I know the 135 has a bad rep on here but never had any problems with mine gen Ford fuel filter oil and filter every year I put a timeing chain kit on it at the very start at a tick at startup as with turning it into a campervan it had to last it was jumped off once when battery died unexpectedly in the middle of the day and that’s the only time it let me down in 9 years of ownership as like most forums we allways hear about the bad vans someone on here once said their is no such thing as a bad van but their are bad owners I just wish my mk8 had as much get up and go no matter what you say about a mk6 135 they do go well when you have a good un
