how do you remove bottom ball joint from the wish bone not replacing it but need to replace the drive shaftboot

never tryed ome but had it at a garage and they couldnt remove it

Are you just trying to pop it out of the wishbone?

You can either use a wedge type splitter that you hammer in or get a big bar and lever the wishbone down. N

yes tryed levering it its solid in wishbone havent got a splitter al get 1 tomorrow thanks

Don’t use the type in the link unless your replacing the ball joint because it will destroy the rubber :!:
You stated you aren’t replacing the ball joint so you need to buy or borrow the type that won’t split the rubber.

Yes don't split your rubber :wink: we all know what happens when you have a split rubber :lol: ball joints are cheap enough to replace. N
