UPDATE::::::::::::::::::::::

In the end we settled at £2050.00 inc vat as this is the top value on glassers guide and parkers guide

at the start they wanted 30% for me to buy the van back but now have got them knocked down to 25% which is a little better. All going well I will be at ford fair rocking the show :lol: 8)

Missed it to much............... Also the white van which i bough the 05 reg is SOLD :)

Thanks for all your help and advise people. every little bit of advise helps and makes a big difference when you are dealing with a bunch of fags.
So THANK YOU ALL!!!

You wanna come and sort my wifes insurance out? she had her 1994 Corsa turbo diesel nicked - and recovered, insurance have said its a write off - sold it to a salvage yard, and offered her £200 minus her excess of £100, so expect her to accept £100 for her car..this has been going on since February - and all they say is 'Prove to us that it would cost more than £200 to replace" :evil:
feel like telling them to bring the corsa back and that we wont be making a clain - that'd pee em off!!!!

Once again a big thanks to all that replied to this thread all the help and advise was much needed. Will be getting on the road next week hopfully :D

Mate what you need to do is find similar cars like the 1 you had on for sale at least 10 i would say. Then print all these adds of and send them to your insurance company. Proove to them you cant replace your car for £200.00

Also how comes the insurance company took the car?? You should not have let them take it. You have not been paid so its still your car. I am sure you can still say to them you want your car back as you have not been paid out.
