I went yesterday for a test drive and I must admit, I really liked it! The MK8 is MUCH better drive than MK7 and also alot quieter too. And it is not so much smaller than MK7, I would say. If I had the money to buy one, yep I would definitely do it!

The van was 125 hp Limited in Chill colour, lot of toys :D
Ford Transit MK8 LWB '15 with 125HP
Frozen White

I have owned more than 70 units of Transit MK6/7/8, now 1st MK8

I haven't seen the most important bit of the van yet? The hole where we put stuff in :) I know I have lot's of mods and cons in my cabin but I use the back for work 8) , no laughing at the back

The Transit Custom’s loadspace is impressive in all three dimensions: load length, width (from wheel arch to wheel arch) and usable interior height. As a result, it can easily carry standard 8’ x 4’ boards placed on their side or flat on the floor, three euro pallets and, thanks to its unique load-through storage area, items up to 3m long. Overall, the van provides a cavernous six cubic metres of loadspace with a bulkhead fitted – and that’s just the short wheelbase (L1) version. The long wheelbase (L2) offers 6.8 cubic metres. Access to loadspace is unparalleled too, as the Transit Custom has the widest side load door opening of any vehicle of its type, a remarkable opening height and the lowest rear access step. The sliding doors also have a new checking mechanism which holds them securely open for loading.
