I went yesterday for a test drive and I must admit, I really liked it! The MK8 is MUCH better drive than MK7 and also alot quieter too. And it is not so much smaller than MK7, I would say. If I had the money to buy one, yep I would definitely do it!

The van was 125 hp Limited in Chill colour, lot of toys

And will it fit a 8x4 flat in the back
I haven't seen the most important bit of the van yet? The hole where we put stuff in I know I have lot's of mods and cons in my cabin but I use the back for work , no laughing at the back

The Transit Custom’s loadspace is impressive in all three dimensions: load length, width (from wheel arch to wheel arch) and usable interior height. As a result, it can easily carry standard 8’ x 4’ boards placed on their side or flat on the floor, three euro pallets and, thanks to its unique load-through storage area, items up to 3m long.
