Tools stolen and van stolen (Transit Mk7) Please Read

I spoke to a good friend who works with a big recovery company in glasgow and i was told u can enter a mk7 transit with removing the pasengers wing mirror glass and conecting the wires tht will open the door BUT it will have to b towed away with the steeri g lock snapped

But you can't get the mirror off, because they are fitted with shear head security bolts!

Your friend is about 5 years out of date, read the threads on here, plenty MK7 have been driven away with no keys, and no apparent damage, not even mirrors cut off

I use a 9inch angle grinder and enter via the roof
But its best to use the keys

It's one of those boxes that you keep a spare key in, it has a combo lock on it.

i done the same on mine with a little keysafe. saw the idea on ebay for £90!
trouble is I know I can break into those keysafes in about 5 mins.

I think the only answer is to rewire it to another plug and have a adapter lead hidden somewhere .
