not a transit but had 36 pallets of beer on a artic once many years ago( well overweight as a pallet was roughly a tonne). and same company had 6 pallets on a old ford cargo 7.5tonne... just remembered we did have a beaten up transit 190 mk3 which used to go backwards and forwards to london with 3 pallets of wine or spirits in the back usually with rear mudflaps almost on the ground....

I've seen one actually on fire, well it was a coach but same thing really, started at the back prob the engine then once it got hold it just ripped its way from the back towards the front untill it was just a shell

i hate burnouts, too much H&S involved and the truck stinks of it for weeks
