Big ask here
gearbox jammed in 2nd on my mk6 fwd and gearstick wobbles like a jelly between all gears but doesn't change gear if that makes sense, looking like bolt on selector, combination of dodgy joints and the fact that whenever I go near a toolset it ends up costing me double what it would to start with leaves me looking for someone who has fixed this fault before. I don't trust, nor can I afford local garages not to rip me off for what appears to be a relatively easy fix for someone slightly more competent than myself, we all know money situations usually crap after Christmas and it's no exception here

Please let me know if you can help, there be be some wallet relief for your time and as many brews as you can drink
