Looking for a transit with no engine for a theatre productio

Hi folks,
I am a theatre designer working on a new play which features a white transit van. My problem or challenge is that the theatre we are performing in will not allow vehicles with engines on stage for safety reasons. This doesn't matter as far as the show goes, the van in the story has broken down so doesn't need to move.
My next problem is that the theatre has ordinary sized double doors and so a standard transit van will not fit, so I will need a van that can come to pieces and be re-assembled.
Thirdly the theatre company has very little money so I am going to have to beg!
We are based in Manchester, does anyone know of any way I can get hold of a white transit van, perhaps a write-off (it is seen from behind so the front could be trashed) which I can cut up, for very little money?
Oh and lastly, I need it by the end of the month!
Any help would be greatly appreciated, can offer tickets to the show, and advertising if that is of any use...
