Whole van shudders

I have a MK6 transit and the whole van sort of jumps and shudders when pulling off in first gear and reversing. Any ideas?

DMF: Duel mass flywheel.
Are all the engine mounts ok?

My van sometimes shudders in first when pulling off, I was hoping with your post somebody would say if its a symptom of a failing dmf or not so I can find the fault with mine N

Well I've just had a new master cylinder and the guy recond he'd had a look at the flywheel and it was fine (I'd told him to change anything that needed changing) so I don't think it's that.. perhaps the engine mounts? I've had a couple of friends who've had the same issue but no one really seems to know what the solution is.

Front wheel drive or rear wheel drive My lower engine gearbox mount is buggers so it might be worth checking that.

Fwd mine is mate. Don't get me started I've just pulled the mat up in the front and was greeted with a nice view of the road
