transit security

Postby Mk7alex » Wed Jan 18, 2017 3:33 pm

Hey folks looking for some security advice
So far I've had my wheel trims nicked and my van scratched too, another lad in my street has had his van tampered with also and keyed too. Needless to say I want an alarm or something that will put low lives off mucking about with my van.
Any advice alarm wise something that maybe bleeps if your too close or feels any movement of the vehicle. Any info would be great.

An alarm will never stop a'holes from keying your car but this will https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDrzMGdYWZc

Not many alarms will prevent wheel trims being nicked and scratching.

I'd park it somewhere else.

If I fit the flame thrower they will lock me up and throw away the key
I get what your saying though little can be done
I've taken to sleeping with my window open and checking on my van every 15 mins while awake bloody fed up of low life's

If you can , fit CCTV on you house and have a couple of cameras pointed at your van . Once the low life scum realizes they could be on camera makes a good deterrent :D Worked for me so far.
