Bison parts mirrors

Postby rimotu66 » Sat Jan 28, 2017 8:55 pm

Has anyone bought a mirror from Bison parts on ebay? I am guessing they are cheap Chinese shite as they are less then £50 each brand new, just wondered if that quality is any good.

If you have a branch of HGV Direct local, give them a try. They do Van stuff as well, also the quality of none oe parts should be good as they don't hide behind the interweb

Mike here from Bison Parts.

We've sold over 2000 Transit mirrors on eBay. Occasionally they get returned but the majority of customers are happy (and definitely happy with the price!).

If you want to order one to have a look at, if you're not happy, send it back for a refund.

And if you're ever in Sheffield feel free to come visit our warehouse, we're not hiding behind the Internet!

Nice one!

Have you already ordered it? Give us a ring afterwards (talk to Rob) and we'll throw in something as a freebie :)

Update. Bison cover arrived but did not fit correctly, I got in touch with Rob who could not of been more helpful and apologetic, he did say they had had a few complaints lately and thought they had been supplied with a bad batch.
He sent me a complete mirror as a way of apology and I have just fitted it, overall the fit is very good, appearance to me is the same as OE, drive test if I am critical the view is very slightly blurred when travelling at any speed but not bad enough to make ID of fallowing vehicles a problem.
All electrics work but need a frost so I can check that it heats up. So for the price I would say that it is worth every penny (if I had paid :D ) and the customer service is second to non.

I was searching for some air horns for my D series and came across this thread so thought I had better up date it. The Bison mirror is still doing what it should and I can conform the heated lens heats up when asked to, all good 10 months on for a fraction of the OE cost :D
