High roof rear doors / wind

Postby CH1 » Sat Feb 11, 2017 11:17 am

Hi, has anyone made some sort of door catch to hold the rear doors in the 90 degree position? I have a couple of ideas but want to see if there is any better tried and tested methods. I am a mobile tyre fitter and often work on the side of the road, on windy days I've got to watch the doors as they can either slam shut when I am in the back of the van, or swing round to the 180 degrees position, it's only a matter of time before they swing round and hit something, or someone  . My mk6 rear door has hit a lamp post before. I am soon to start using my mk7 and don't really want them to smack off anything
