Van broken into CCTV cameras?

Postby lknights1987 » Wed Feb 15, 2017 12:28 am

Hi all,

My van was broken into yesterday afternoon all tools and important documents stolen. I'm looking to buy a cctv camera that will work once I've parked and left the van. Can anyone recommend a cctv system that will detect motion? Ideally I'd like to Install the camera in the middle section of the van possible in a corner or on the bulkhead.

CCTV doesn't bother these toe rags, I have images of two thieves attempting to break into, or steal, my van, and their faces were completely covered with scarves, and their hands were gloved.
You would do better fitting a high security lock, and a decent alarm system

Get a pit bull or Alsatian to sleep in it. All those teeth show up well in the dark.

Probably break in to nick the f%$3ing camera, decent alarm better option... CCTV on house, at least gives you an idea of what's happening, the vvanker that nicked nippers camera, couldn't see his face either, but his dog was VERY distinctive ;)

As mentioned before a decent alarm system and high security locks will help.
Maybe even a ground anchor :?:

Ground anchor? So when they drive off it pulls up all the block paving?

If you have a wireless alarm system in the house, fit a sensor in the van too, then it will set off the goose alarm too :D

You could always put dog sh*t under the handles, that will get'em.
