Do you legally have to legible weight plate on the van? Displaying axle weights etc?

Because a mate asked me to help fit deadlocks and the keeper would obscure the plate on he passenger B post.

I was thinking that even if it's not a legal requirement, not being visible would cause issues and delays if you're ever stopped by VOSA, or the police :? :mrgreen:
