Hykee lock news of interest

Postby the_big_fact_hunt » Fri Oct 06, 2017 7:25 pm

just read on faceachebook that someone fitted a hykee lock and accidentally turned it to lock instead of unlock before removing the old lock and when he tested it he deadlocked it with the remote and opened it with the hykee key and the alarm sounded when he opened the drivers door or the rear door, any thoughts? should we all fit them wrong for the alarm to sound if theyre picked?

If you open it with the key you have a few seconds to put your key in the ignition or the the alarm goes off
So his van is functioning correctly :D

It’s correct operation for a Transit alarm. The problem is that about 1% of Transits have the factory alarm
