Transit Connect 2014 Accelerator Pedal adjustment

Postby tylermonk » Wed Oct 11, 2017 7:28 pm

Hi, the accelerator in my van is around three inches lower than my brake pedal. This makes it difficult to use both without moving my foot position, is there any way this can be adjusted? Is there a reason for it to be that way?
Cheers

No it can’t be adjusted. The pedal is a sealed unit.

It's due to having ABS, so you can't apply the throttle when braking hard - you can blame stupid fat 'Mericans for it.
