This is unbelievable...

Postby toppetsaha » Sat Nov 25, 2017 10:10 pm

Swapped the battery's on the Vans today as we're going away for a few weeks. Obviously when recconecting the battery the radio code needs entering. When I switched the the ignition round this little message popped onto the screen on the radio... Wtf!

Nicely writ but the K is a bit short.

Why do you have to put in the radio code?
I have never put in the radio code after disconecting the battery.

What has happened and does happen sometimes is that the radio starts up when I turn the starter key to start the engine.
When the battery was a bit old and low the radio could start up everytime the key was turned to start. I began to use that as an indicator of a low battery.
The Iveco tipper's radio sometimes comes on at start.

Anyoneknow why the radios come on at start when they are switched off and not been used? I rarely have the radio on.
