Cleaning the cab

Postby axam102 » Tue Apr 10, 2018 10:57 pm

Have only had the van a couple of months and already the dogs have it looking like a waiting room at a norovirus clinic. mud bloody everywhere, is it safe to hose the interior down? when i say the interior I mean the floor not the dash.

I did my mk7, the back was open so I drove the front up the curb so it was higher at the front then I blasted the floor.

Only concern is there a fair bit of electricals on the floor plus the underside of the carpet is lined with a sponge material which you don't really want to get wet.

My suggestion is a bucket of soapy water and a sponge, wet but dry

Thanks fella, was hoping for an easy option but in my heart I suspected that would be the case. maybe I should just jet wash the dogs before they get in lol
