Bristol to Bulgaria

Postby benchmark51 » Sun Jun 24, 2018 7:35 am

I clocked up 2500 miles, due to satnav not working and making a few wrong guesses. Took less than a week in the Transit + trailer so not bad really. Gas system didn't work at all, so a bit pricey fuel wise. Booked it in for a fix that entailed a complete front system replacement at a gas specialist garage in Bulgaria. 300 quid and a day and a half later it's running ok and a lot cheaper now.

Ha ha, haven't come across him yet. lol.

Met up with a Bulgarian chap who is into kit cars, he got 2 robin hood sevens, one with a roof and gull wing doors. Another still at chassis stage but wider than a seven. I may name him uncle bulgaria, won't make a difference as we can't understand a word either of us says.
