Gazela by... Transit

In Russia is produced van Gazela (plant GAZ in Niznyj Novgorod). It is imitation of Transit Mk3 - Mk5.
In Poland it is offered with polish engines from Andoria plant - 2,4l/102HP/230Nm/Bosch rotation pump and 2,6l/115HP/280Nm/common rail Bosch. Models for polish market are mounted in Lithuania.
Gazela is produced in many versions, also 4x4.

General opinion is: simply construction, bad materials, car for havy terms but short mileage... Very unreliable.
Prices are low (netto without VAT): model Kombi/7 seats 49.000PLN = 11.000GBP, model 4x4 fourgon/7 seats 52.000PLN = 11.700GBP (plus 23% VAT for inside market).

In Russia Gazela's must to have very strong engines - look for this film ImageImageImage :

Doubt Ford would let them do that because they are still building it themselves.
